Security
Security and local PDF filling
Just Fill PDF is designed around local browser editing. Your PDF file and the information you type into it are not uploaded to Just Fill PDF for editing.
What stays in your browser
The PDF file is opened by your browser for editing. Field values, typed signatures, initials, dates, and checkmarks are used locally to show and create the completed PDF. They are not sent to Just Fill PDF for editing or license validation.
Network requests that can happen
- Checkout: payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy when you choose to buy the unlock.
- License validation: Just Fill PDF checks the license key and a browser license instance so download and print can unlock.
- Analytics: limited product events help understand basic usage, such as opening the editor or downloading a completed PDF.
- Forms: early access and feedback forms are submitted through Formspree.
What is not sent for license validation
License validation does not send PDF files, PDF filenames, PDF contents, form entries, typed signatures, initials, dates, or checkmark choices.
What Just Fill PDF is not claiming
Just Fill PDF is not claiming offline-only use, zero network requests, special encryption guarantees, legal e-signature compliance, or formal security certifications. It is a focused browser-based PDF form filler that avoids uploading your PDF for the core editing workflow.
